DoubleThink #10
I just finished my newest book, DoubleThink #10. It's 24 pages of black and white comic goodness. The themes range from video games, to love, to pop songs. If you are in Winooski Saturday the 24th of March, 2012, swing by the Vermont Small Press and Comic Fair. I have a table and will be selling this title, along with Percy & Grimm, and the Mega Manthology. More info on the show is here http://kasinihouse.com/news/

Lolo Vs. Layton
I just recently beat the first Adventures of Lolo game and it got me thinking about Professor Layton. What if Lolo and Layton could team up in a new game, where Lolo is the hard boiled detective who's seen it all and Professor Layton is a bit more refined. They are so different, but only by working together can they solve the crime and save the princess.

Princess Gwaelin of Dragon Warrior

Here she is, the princess you must save in Dragon Warrior for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Our fair maiden has been kidnapped from her home by the evil Dragon Lord (oh is he evil alright!) He doesn't kidnap her to marry her, or even give her a smooch out of some misplaced affection. He just downright takes her and locks her up in a dank dark cave guarded by a Green Dragon (of the fire breathing variety) who she has no hope of defeating, and thus no hope for escape. Well, she does have one hope really, you, the decendent of Erdrick to brave the dark cave and slay the dragon. I know you're up for the challange. Dragon Warrior came out in America circa 1989. This is one of my favorite games for the NES.

King from Cave Story

This is a drawing that I had a lot of fun with, it's King one of the Mimigas living in Mimiga Village in the fantastic game Cave Story. I've been drawing the characters in Cave Story for a while now, just whenever the moment strikes me. Then, whenever I get a chance to scan them in and colour them, I do. For some reason I seem to like drawing them best with a big fat black Sharpie marker. Maybe it's because of the pixel art that is used in the game.
